Waggoner Library
One of the first things you will need to do in the library is to validate your TNU ID card at the circulation desk. You may be asked to complete an information form. Your card must be presented each time you check out items. Contact Ruth Kinnersley at ext. 1491 for more information. Circulation Assistant Monica Landen at ext. 1212 is also available for assistance.
Quick FACTS: ·
Your Trevecca I.D. also provides you with
remote access to all online databases. To access an online database from
home or work you will be prompted to supply your name and the barcode
number from your I.D. ·
To check out materials, present your library
card to the assistant at the circulation desk. The assistant will scan your
library card and the materials you are borrowing and provide you with the
date the item is due to be returned. ·
Faculty are allowed to keep books for an
entire semester at which time a notice will be sent reminding you that the
materials need to be returned or renewed. ·
If the item is needed before the end of the semester,
it may be recalled by the library for student use. ·
Faculty may check out videos for a two-week period only. Music CDs may be checked out for the
semester. ·
If you send someone to the library to check
out materials for you, please call the circulation desk (ext. 1214) and let
us know. Otherwise, we may assume
that the person is using a stolen card.
·
Children of faculty, administrators and
staff members do not have library privileges unless they are enrolled as a
TNU student. ·
Spouses of Administrators and Faculty may
have a special library card issued to them.
Questions or concerns about this policy should be directed to Ruth Kinnersley,
Director of Library Services at ext. 1491. ·
Books that are unavailable at Waggoner
Library can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan.
